Conscience & Justice Council Conference

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others”

-Philippians 2:3-4, NIV.

The Conscience & Justice Council (“CJC”) cordially invites you to attend and engage in our 3rd Annual Conference, September 13-16, 2018 in Houston, Texas. We believe this ministry follows Christ’s method of evangelism and will hasten the soon coming of Jesus Christ.

This year, CJC will explore the freedom and equality issues impacting this country and the world as it relates to mass incarceration, mental health, voting, engagement, emasculation of minority males, immigration, persecution, evangelism, and prophecy. Additionally, we will intentionally focus on bridging the gap between Millennials and Baby Boomers to collaboratively engage in advocacy for human rights and making disciples of Jesus Christ.

You should attend because this provocative conference will strengthen you, your faith-based institution, and community in representing the evidence of the Living Christ under the unction of the Holy Spirit. Both justice issues and conscience issues will be explored. Evangelism strategies will be discussed so the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty ministry can become more in your church or organization than an announcement about what to do if you have employment issues due to your desire to practice your faith. You will be changed by this conference.

We encourage pastors, elders, PARL leaders and their ministry teams, social justice leaders and their teams, conscience leaders and their teams, activist, and advocates, and anyone else who cares about justice and conscience issues to attend. Color, denomination, or any other “label” is no barrier to attendance as all will receive a high return on investment by participating.

Our sponsors, Breath of Life Ministries, Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport, Liberty Magazine, North American Division Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Department, North American Religious Liberty Association, Office for Regional Conference Ministry, Southwest Region Conference, and Southwestern Union Conference, are keeping this conference affordable.
