Hope for Humanity Baltimore Results in Baptism and Impact
Hope for Humanity – Reach Baltimore

September and October marked the launch of a collaborative initiative for Baltimore churches in both the Allegheny East and Chesapeake Conferences. “Revelation Today: Hope for Humanity” brought It Is Written speaker John Bradshaw and associate speaker Wes Peppers to the city, joined by North American Division president Dr. G. Alexander Bryant. Together they shared Christ-centered messages of hope, prophecy, and practical faith for everyday life.
More than a series of meetings, Reach Baltimore was an intentional, citywide effort to lift people’s eyes from fear and uncertainty to the promise of a faithful God. Members prayed, invited neighbors, and served behind the scenes while students from the Andrews University Theological Seminary and professional Bible counselors connected with guests each night. Pastors from Baltimore-area churches provided resources and support as everyone worked together to witness to souls in the community.
The event drew people from across the Baltimore community who were searching for answers, healing, and a fresh start. As a result, 17 people were baptized, with more preparing to follow. Vincent Cosom, a local elder, said, “It was a powerful message each night,” while member Shakeena Davis reflected, “The speakers spoke from the Word.”
Though the series has concluded, its impact is still unfolding in homes, small groups, and congregations. Hope for Humanity reminded Baltimore that the gospel is still good news, that prophecy still points to a living Savior, and that God is still calling men and women to a new beginning in Christ.
