AEC at PELC 2023

AEC leaders and pastors gathered in Huntsville, AL for the annual Pastoral Evangelism and Leadership Conference (PELC) held on the campus of Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. The official conference occurred December 3-6, but featured several pre-conference activities, including an Hispanic track. This year’s theme was “Change,” and marked the event’s record attendance.

Over 50 AEC employees attended to enjoy workshops, preaching, singing, and fellowship. On Monday morning, AEC’s Corey Johnson, pastor of the Germantown Church in Philadelphia, Pa, delivered a message entitled, “The Dead District.” Prior to his message, his wife, Morgan, delivered a message.

Dr. William Joseph delivered a seminar on the “The Science of Discipleship” on Tuesday afternoon as part of the super seminars series.

During Tuesday’s evening service, the singing group, “Generations” featuring Pastors Nick Taliaferro (retired) and Orville Brissett (Church of the Oranges).
