Crown of Life is on the Move

Summer 2026 has been a busy time for the Crown of Life Worship Center.  

At least once a month the church has provided food to the community by loading groceries in the trunks of their cars.  After receiving their groceries they are invited inside for a hot hearty breakfast which includes items such as veggie or turkey sausage, waffles, pancakes, grits, eggs, potatoes, fruit,  Vehicles begin to line up as early as 8:00 am for the food give away which begins at 10.00 am.  At least 200 families are blessed by this ministry each month.  This community event happens once a month all year regardless of the weather.  

In July we invited the community kids to VBS with the theme Camp Chaos.  We had over 40 community kids register and enjoy the lesson, meals and crafts each night.  VBS concluded with a fun night consisting of a bouncy, Kona ice truck, party game truck and plenty of treats including hot dogs, cotton candy and funnel cake.  The parents and other adults enjoyed it just as much as the kids.  

On August 1 after the food distribution and during the breakfast, school supplies were given out to children of all ages in the community.  

And last but not least on Sunday, August 2 there was a community yard sale held on the parking lot.  Members as well as others in the community set up tables to sell their nearly new items.  Parents from VBS also participated.  

More activities are planned for future community events for youth and adults. Yes, Crown of Life Worship Center is making a difference in the Edgewood Community.
