Kinlock Resumes Pastoral Area Visits w/VA and Wash-Metro

This week Elder Kinlock met with all the AEC pastors from the Virginia and Washington-Metropolitan area ministeriums.  Focusing on the three core priorities of Evangelism, Education, and Youth & Young Adult ministry, the president and conference team rolled out a series of initiatives to build the impact, growth, and viability of all AEC churches.  Pastors are conducting Pentecost 2025 evangelistic meetings in their churches with new believers being added to the churches every week.  Dr. Kinlock highlighted the Compassion Evangelistic meetings that have baptized hundreds of new believers into AEC churches across the entire conference territory this year.  Dr. Alberty highlighted the "All for One" campaign (visitaec.org/all-for-one) and the "Brothers Rising" initiative (visitaec.org/brothersrising) to build access and opportunity for marginalized students and communities.  The conference Youth Director, Dr. Ramone Griffith introduced his team, Pastor Novella Smith who is dedicated to building Children's ministry across the conference, and Pastor Avrey Anderson who will help build young adult ministry across our conference of churches.  Dr. Griffith announced the upcoming AEC Youth Congress 2026 that will be held in Ocean City, MD in January (aecyouth.org/youth-congress).  In all, the session was an impactful time where the conference leaders helped guide and support the pastors in these key strategic areas.
