New Life Church (Salisbury) Opens Library In Honor of Former Elder

The members of the New Life Church in Salisbury, Maryland voted to restore one of the rooms in the church into a library. On December 19th they officially dedicated and opened it to the members. They are planning to open it up to the community, as well. The room was officially named the "Elder Rossi Alfonze Bratten Jr. Memorial Library,” in honor the church’s late head elder. The family of Elder Bratten was invited to perform a ribbon cutting ceremony and view the completed room for the first time.

All of the materials for this library project were donated from the North American Division, Allegheny East Conference, Chaplain Paul Anderson, and Elder Bratten.

“I believe that it is very important that the members be well equipped to study the Word of God to assist in growing the foundation of learning and being a constant witness in our community,” said David Thorpe, pastor.
