Pastor Torres Partners with BJA to Serve Community

This past Sabbath, February 14, 2026, my heart was deeply moved as I joined about 70 amazing students from Blue Mountain Academy, along with Pastor Adam, teachers, and parents, to take the love of Jesus to the streets of Reading, PA. With sandwiches in our hands and joy in our hearts, we went out to serve our community—not just with food, but with prayer, songs of hope, and genuine compassion. We laughed with children, prayed with families, sang about Jesus, and reminded people that God sees them, loves them, and has not forgotten them. What started as a simple outreach became a powerful moment of connection, healing, and faith in action. Seeing young people boldly serving, worshiping, and loving others was a beautiful reminder that the next generation is rising to shine for Christ.

This is the church outside the walls.

This is the gospel in action.

And this is what love looks like.
