Prayer for Ukraine

Father God,

We come to you this afternoon on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Russia and Ukraine. Lord, you know the terrible injustices that have been done, the killing, the hatred, the disunity, division and oppression. We know that in these last days of earth's history, we will see more and more things of this nature. This is why we need to be united more now than ever before. Lord, I pray that we are not desensitized to the hurt and pain of those who are suffering. Help us to always have a heart of compassion. Father God, we know that you have the power to ward off the oppressors. We ask that your Holy Spirit will speak to their hearts, convict them and give them a desire to want to do what's right and what's pleasing in your sight. Our prayer is that they will have a change of heart. We know that you have the power to transform lives and bring about change. You are a change agent. You have the power to heal, the power to restore, and the power to sustain. We rebuke the enemy now in the name of Jesus from continuing to wreak havoc and bring grief to these individuals. Put a hedge of protection around them so that no evil, hurt, harm or danger will continue to come upon them.

Unite us together as SDA's all over the world praying and fasting and asking for deliverance of these individuals who have been bound. Loose them, Father God. Help us to ban together to spread the word. Let our voices be heard. We know that the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Lord, please do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. Forgive us for not rightly representing you in anything we may have said or done. Forgive us for not taking action when we should have taken action. Help us to move forward trusting in you, knowing that you are in control of every situation and circumstance. We ask for your forgiveness. Lord, bring peace where there is war. Supplies where there is scarcity. Healing where there is pain. Joy where there is sadness. Love where there is hatred. Resolution where there is instability. Change hearts as only you can. Bring deliverance, solidarity and joy back to this nation.

We ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
