Teen Leadership Training Retreat

The Teen Leadership Training Retreat was held April 24-26 at Joy El Ministries, a camp and retreat ground that is committed to a God-filled experience. Youth were celebrated for reaching new heights and levels. The over 80 TLTs attendees participated in mini golf, go-karts, and indoor activities like Choir Wars, Steal the Bacon, and more. As TLT focuses on teen leadership, the youth took full control over the service, from praise and worship to the devotional word. The retreat was not just about sitting back and relaxing. TLT participants worked hard to make sure they had a successful weekend. With the help of the AEC staff, they organized a popcorn fundraiser, which raised thousands of dollars. This weekend was a blessing to all those who had a hand in the retreat.

Isaiah 11:6 says, “Let the child lead them.” The TLTs are youth in preparation for a spiritual battle, but the TLT retreat is a testament that God will, can, and does use His youth to do big things.
