Virginia members celebrate the life and leadership of Beloved First Elder

It was a joyful afternoon of love and affirmation as members from the Hampton Roads community came together to celebrate the birthday of Elder Jeff Thomas, first elder of the Calvary SDA church in Newport News, VA.  Joined by Virginia area leader, Pastor DuWayne Privette, President Kinlock and local elders laid hands on Elder Thomas and expressed appreciation for his invaluable service and leadership in the church and community.  Elder Kinlock shared, “The church is always blessed when they receive the selfless and devoted leadership of a true man of God.  We had to be apart of this special celebration for this servant of the Lord.”
