Principal

Requirements

  • Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Possess at least a Master’s Degree/certification in Educational
  • Administration and Leadership
  • Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
  • Verified Volunteers clearance

Qualifications

  • Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
  • At least 3 years as Principal or Assistant Principal at the Pre-K - 8 Level
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience working with a diverse population

Elementary Teacher

Requirements

  • Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Achieved no less than a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
  • Verified Volunteers clearance

Qualifications

  • Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
  • Prior teaching experience preferred

Administrative Assistant

Requirements

  • Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Achieved no less than an Associates’ Degree
  • Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
  • Verified Volunteers clearance

 Qualifications

  • Experience in efficiently and discretely managing administrative details with commensurate clerical skill and professionalism in composing and processing correspondence, handling inquiries within capacity, updating and managing lists, directories, reports and other duties as assigned.
  • Show initiative in completing assignments
  • Be amenable to continuous learning, development and quality improvement

Duties

  • Relieve management of administrative detail on all projects/project management
  • Coordinate work flow
  • Update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines
  • Take initiative in director's/administrator's absence
  • Keep projects on schedule
  • Maintain procedures manual to ensure consistent performance of office/department routines
