Annual Elders Retreat Affirms the Mission is Possible

Over 150 elders from the Allegheny East Conference territory gathered together along with some spouses this past weekend (June 13-14, 2025) on the Pine Forge campground for a powerful, spirit-filled weekend. The theme was "Mission Possible," and it focused on the fact that the great gospel commission is "ABSOLUTELY" possible if we follow Christ's method alone in evangelism. Dr. Gene Donaldson (AEC"s Ministerial Director), challenged the elders and reminded us that if we follow Christ's method alone, we can be effective in winning souls for the kingdom. He showed us various ways of what effective ministry looks like through discussion, materials, role-playing, and videos.
