Compassion Ministry at Rehoboth Yields 50 Decisions

It is with joy and gratitude that I share the final report of the Compassion Ministry Evangelistic Meetings hosted at Rehoboth Seventh-day Adventist Church from May 27-June 7 2025. The hand of God moved powerfully, and we are thrilled to report:

28 baptisms

22 professions of faith

Total decisions for Christ: 50 souls won for the Kingdom!

Each night combined the power of the gospel with the tangible expression of Christ’s love through compassion ministry. We were blessed to serve our community with the following giveaways:

  • Diapers and baby supplies

  • Toys for children

  • Groceries for families in need

  • Walmart and Wawa gift cards

  • Brand-new sneakers

These practical acts of love prepared the soil for the message of hope and transformation to take root in many hearts. Dozens came seeking help—and left with Jesus.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Trevor Kinlock and the Allegheny East Conference administration for their generous financial support. Your investment in this mission made it possible for us to meet real needs and win eternal souls.

We also thank the dedicated team of Bible workers, speaker, church members, musicians, and prayer warriors who gave themselves sacrificially for this effort. Every life touched is a testament to the united work of the body of Christ.

As we move forward into discipleship and retention, we covet your continued prayers for each new believer. May revival continue to burn in Reading and throughout our conference.

To God be the glory, great things He has done!

In Christ’s service,

Pastor Rabiel Torres, MAPM, Senior Pastor, Rehoboth Seventh-day Adventist Church, Reading, Pennsylvania
