Baltimore Extended Area Hosts Unity Day “Anchored in Hope, Rooted in Love”

The Baltimore Extended Area Ministerium (B.E.A.M.), gathered with the Berea Temple Church in Baltimore, Maryland, for Unity Day 2026, centered on the theme “Anchored in Hope, Rooted in Love.” The weekend celebration brought together church members, families, young adults, and community guests for a series of worship, fellowship, evangelism, and training opportunities.

The weekend began with a Friday Night Live program especially designed for young adults, featuring AEC President Dr. Trevor Kinlock, musical guest Odanye Rhoden, and AEC Area Leader Pr. Lee Kimani.

On Sabbath, the celebration continued with Sabbath School, Children’s Church, and the main worship service. The day also featured AEC Lay Evangelism Training, providing participants with practical encouragement and tools to strengthen their witness and outreach within their communities.

The afternoon concluded with a Gospel Concert featuring Odanye Rhoden, followed by the Faith & Freedom Dialogue, creating opportunities for reflection, conversation, and spiritual encouragement.

Throughout the weekend, the message of Unity Day remained clear: believers are called to remain anchored in hope and rooted in love as they serve Christ and one another. The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for fellowship across generations while emphasizing the importance of evangelism, discipleship, and unity within the church.
