Miracle City Installs Dr Peggy Filossaint as Pastor of Administration

On Sabbath, August 29, 2026, Miracle City Church in Baltimore, MD, celebrated the installation of Dr Peggy Filossaint as the assistant pastor for administration. The installation was conducted by Dr Noah Washington, Miracle City’s lead pastor on behalf of Conference leadership.

During the ceremony, Pastor Filossaint pledged to faithfully fulfill her pastoral responsibilities through prayer, study, servant leadership, and the preaching of the gospel. The congregation also stood together and committed to support their new pastor through prayer, love, loyalty, and cooperation. Pastor Filossaint was joined by her family and over 200 members of the Haitian community in New Jersey who drove up by coach bus and cars from the four home churches in New Jersey that she pastored. Pastor Filossaint will be the third woman serving in pastoral ministry at Miracle City.

Following the installation, Pastor Filossaint delivered her inaugural sermon, “Then God Remembered,” from Revelation 21:1-7 to nearly 500 attendees in the house and 120 online.
In this powerful and hope-filled message, Dr. Filossaint shared the promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where God will dwell with His people and wipe away every tear. This message is a powerful reminder that God has not forgotten His people. Even through seasons of waiting, uncertainty, disappointment, and pain, God remains faithful to His promises. What we experience today is not the end of the story. There is a day coming when God will make all things new, remove sorrow and suffering, and bring His people into the fullness of His promise.

“Then God Remembered” speaks to anyone who has ever wondered if God sees them, hears them, or remembers what He promised. Dr. Filossaint reminds us that God’s timing is not evidence of His absence. His promises remain true, and His faithfulness never fails.
