Delmar Community Service Federation Churches Support Jamaica Relief Back-to-School Drive

This year has been a beautiful reminder of what can happen when faith and compassion come together. Some of our partner churches joined hands to bless students in Jamaica with much-needed back-to-school supplies, ensuring they start the year equipped for success. In addition to these gifts, generous financial contributions were sent to help restore areas affected by recent damage, along with clothing, canned food, and other essentials—a true testament to love in action.

Closer to home, many of our local congregations hosted joyful back-to-school celebrations, providing supplies, encouragement, and prayer for children and families in their own neighborhoods. Whether across the ocean or right here in our community, these acts of kindness reflect the heart of the Gospel and continue the Community Service Mission—serving others with joy, generosity, and hope.

Let’s continue to lift one another in prayer and keep finding ways to be the hands and feet of Christ wherever the need arises.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Kenneth Anderson and Pastor Shane Francis, and to every church, volunteer, and donor who made this possible. Your kindness is planting seeds of hope that will grow for years to come.
