First Millsboro SDA Church Community Involvement x 2

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, First Millsboro SDA Church had a full day with 2 Community outreach and social projects.

On Sabbath, March 28, 2026, the Church body after service took photos holding the stuffed turtles and other stuffed animals for the TURTLE COMFORT PROJECT for the Nanticoke Indian Tribe on Sunday, March 29, 2026.  

This project was to collect stuffed turtles or animals to give to First Responders, Fireman and Police Officers to provide comfort to someone at a time when there is a crisis in their life.    

On Sunday, the donation from the Church along with other donations from the Community were blessed by an Elder of the Tribe before the distribution process begins by the end of the month.

  In addition, there was an Easter Egg Hunt for the "young people" with a visit from the Easter Bunny.  

Each year, the Nanticoke Indian Tribe has a Community Event during Easter to bring the community together.  

The Native American Ministry and Congregation are proud to be collaborate with events that promote the spirit of Cultural Community.

About 7 miles in the Town of Millsboro, the Social Events Committee had an afternoon of bowling for all.  

The Bowling Event was full of strikes,  some gutter balls, and lots of laughs.  The main event of the day is the fellowship one with another.

These 2 events are part of the "YEAR of PROXIMITY" for First Millsboro SDA Church- :Grasping GOD- Search Self- Prioritize Purpose and Cultivate Community.
