Members of Fire Engine 6 engaged the community by providing fire safety education and assisting residents with sign-ups for smoke detector installations, helping to promote safer homes and neighborhoods.

We were honored to welcome Andrianna Lovelace, representing Councilmember Zachary Parker of Ward 5, Pastor Glenford Baxter of 4th Street Friendship SDA Church; and Commissioner Karla Lewis of ANC 5E to the Popsicle Festival.

We are especially grateful to ANC 5E for awarding $2,500 in grant funding to support the event. Commissioner Lewis continues to be a steadfast supporter of 4th Street Friendship’s community initiatives, and her presence at our events is always deeply appreciated.

It was a blessing to be used by God in service to our community, meeting needs and spreading joy.
