Washington Metro to Host Health Emphasis Weekend Sept 26-28

The Metropolitan Seventh-day Adventist Church of Hyattsville, Maryland, will celebrate our ministry during our Health Emphasis weekend from September 26 through September 28, 2025.

We will begin our weekend with an anointing service on Friday evening. Our senior pastor, Dr. Dewaine Frazer will anoint our health ministry team. We will also celebrate our health team members. Our goal is to give flowers to the living in thanks for the selfless time and talents they have given our ministry. 

During our Devine Hour celebration, Dr. Anthony Medley, the Health Ministry leader at Allegheny East, will provide the message of the hour. After a health emphasis lunch, we will  hold breakout sessions focusing on women, men, youth, young adult and children's health. 

We will close out our weekend on Sunday morning with a 5K walkathon. The funds raised will be used to continue our community outreach projects.
