New Life Salisbury Hosts Back-to-School Block Party

The New Life Church (Salisbury, MD) held a community Back to School block party on Sunday afternoon, August 16th. It was exceptionally attended, as many persons were blessed with school supplies & necessities, barbecue-style veggie burgers & hot dogs, resources from various ministries of the church (specifically health ministries), & the young people indulged in fun as they delved into the bounce house, the water slide, the mechanical bull ride, & even a game truck for all to enjoy. The highlight of this event was when the pastor, Jajuan Sanders (along with a few elders & leaders), got in the dunk tank. Both the young & the old were full of joy as they dunked them in, while lively music filled the space. It was all in good fun & fellowship. Some who learned of the event by just passing by the church sign that day were inspired by the event & the love shown there, so much so that they had an interest in joining the church family. The congregation will continue expanding their community outreach through the remainder of the year & beyond, with hopes of bringing even more people into closer proximity in their relationship with Christ.
