Power Is in the Blood: Cedars of Lebanon Hosts Community Blood Drive

Cedars of Lebanon Church was able to sponsor what we called "Power Is In the Blood, Blood Drive" through the Red Cross. In the season of Pentecost 2025, our church was prayerfully blessed with the idea of connecting with the diverse community of Chesapeake, Virginia. By way of attracting the community to Cedars through the approach of donating blood. Blood is universal within human beings regardless of ethnicity, social status, or religious affiliation. This was instrumental in meeting others in the community who may have never met.  Also, an evangelistic opportunity to remind our community that it is through the blood of Jesus Christ ensures hope for humanity. In the same way, we were able to acquire 15 pints of blood that can be used to give 45 people hope as well in their lives. Cedars of Lebanon looks forward to teaming with the Red Cross and the community later in 2026.
