GE Peters Students Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Students at GE Peters enjoyed Hispanic food, learned Hispanic songs, and learned the geography and history of Hispanic countries during this year's Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.  Dr. Kinlock visited the school during their week of prayer and listened as students sang "Cielito Lindo" and recited important facts about Hispanic history.  Because of intentional outreach efforts by Principal Dr. Tanishia Pride and the AEC Office of Education, the Hispanic student population has noticeably increased at GE Peters this year.  After the program, President Kinlock surprised students by paying for pizza for their lunch.
