Spanish Ministries Host Camporee on Pine Forge Grounds

Paul and Stephen were the biblical figures chosen for our AEC Spanish Ministry camp, held August
21-24, 2025 at the Allegheny East Conference in Pine Forge. This event brought together more than 250
campers, including Adventurers, Pathfinders, and parents. We were joined by our Spanish Ministry Coordinator,
Pastor Ramon Escalante, who motivated and challenged the campers to have the courage of Stephen and the
perseverance of Paul.
Christian values and principles were promoted in every activity. Each day, campers participated in a variety of
events, games, and recreational activities that challenged not only their physical selves but also their mental and
spiritual selves. Marches and turns, knots, biblical dramatizations and singing. The Adventurers
developed the honor of the Parables, and parents participated in family seminars. To emphasize the
importance of Bible study, a contest on the Book of Acts was held. The Adventurers, Pathfinders, and
Master Guides demonstrated their knowledge of Paul and Stephen, thanks to this important initiative.
But this camp wasn't just about activities or events; its true purpose was to consolidate the decision of
seven Adventurers and Pathfinders to be baptized. They said, "Here I Am," before the call of God,
who used Pastor Escalante in his preaching. Besides the tremendous blessings that the youth received, there
was a revival among the brethren who assisted. It was a camp that will not be easily forgotten. For the youth,
the club is not just a place of learning but a path to the kingdom of heaven.
The camp concluded its activities on Sunday, rewarding the efforts of each club not only during the
camp but throughout the year. They achieved the goal of preparing and discipling new generations,
fulfilling their mission, and joyfully awaiting the return of our Lord Jesus Christ to join Him in the
most beautiful and long-awaited heavenly camporee.
