Maryland Central Korean Hosts K-Bazaar for Community Fellowship
Every October, the parking lot of Maryland Central Korean Church is transformed for one of the most meaningful outreach days of our year: the K-Bazaar. On Sunday, October 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., members welcomed the community to 20101 Woodfield Road in Gaithersburg, MD, once again welcoming neighbors for a day of food, fun, and fellowship.
“The K-Bazaar is our way of serving the community around us,” says Pastor Kwang Kim. Guests enjoyed Korean food, browsed the yard sale, played games, and watched the children enjoy the bounce house. Whether it was a first taste of Korean cuisine or a return visit from a regular, there was something for every age.
Behind the food and games is a simple purpose: to love our neighbors as Christ loved us. The K-Bazaar gives the church family a chance to meet the people who live around them, build friendships, and share the warmth of the community. Each year, approximately 300 people from the neighborhood come through our doors, and that makes this event one of the most meaningful opportunities for service and mission.
