Camp Davis 2026 Off to an Exciting Start

The first week of Camp Davis 2026 has been filled with discovery, friendship, faith, and unforgettable experiences as campers immersed themselves in a variety of educational, recreational, and spiritual activities.

Since arriving on Sunday, campers have settled into cabin life, met new friends, and embraced the excitement of another summer at Camp Davis. Each day has begun with fitness, breakfast, and morning worship, establishing a Christ-centered foundation before campers head into a full schedule of engaging activities.

Throughout the week, campers have explored hands-on STEM projects such as sound waves, balloon cars, elephant toothpaste, lava lamps, slime science, and water filtration while also expressing their creativity through culinary experiences, self-defense instruction, arts and crafts, and team-building challenges. A highlight of the week was Thursday's excursion to Sight & Sound Theatre, where campers enjoyed the theatrical production of Joshua.

Afternoons have been equally exciting with open gym, swimming, sports, carnival games, and cabin competitions that have encouraged teamwork, sportsmanship, and lasting friendships. Evening activities—including movie night, interactive games, cabin wars, and spirited worship gatherings—have brought campers together to laugh, learn, and grow in community.

Camp Davis is looking forward to additional science and creative activities, sports competitions, nature scavenger hunts, Bible trivia, and Friday evening's Vespers Sing-Off before gathering for Sabbath worship together.

More than just a summer camp, Camp Davis continues to provide an environment where young people are developing confidence, building meaningful relationships, discovering new talents, and strengthening their walk with Christ. As the week continues, staff members remain committed to creating memorable experiences that will leave a lasting impact on every camper.
