On Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., Grace Point Church in Montclair, New Jersey, celebrated a significant milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new facility, the Grace Point Community Enrichment Center.

The new center represents the culmination of dedicated planning and collaboration. Elder Joan Perry served as project manager, with Elder Chris Jones coordinating the effort. The initiative was supported by former pastor Dr. Dewaine Frazer and current pastor Dr. Errol Stoddart, whose leadership helped bring the vision to life.

Several community officials were in attendance to mark the occasion and offer remarks, including Joseph DiVincenzo, Jr. of the Essex County Division of Housing and Community Development; John Soares, Division Director; Salvatore Carnovale, Program Monitor; John Cataldo, Coordinator of Contractual Operations; and Craig Lombardi, Housing Coordinator.

Lawrance Martin, Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the Allegheny East Conference, delivered remarks on behalf of the conference. Dr. Dewaine Frazer also shared reflections on the project and its impact.

Following a prayer of dedication, officials gathered for the ceremonial ribbon cutting. Guests were then invited to tour the new facility and enjoy light refreshments, celebrating a new chapter of community engagement and service for Grace Point Church.
