Kinlock and AEC Leaders Commemorate Pine Forge Alumni Weekend

Held on the traditional Labor Day weekend, Dr. Kinlock gathered with hundreds of alumni, family, and friends for the annual Pine Forge Alumni Weekend celebration. The annual celebration commemorates the enduring legacy and mission of Pine Forge Academy, one of the last remaining Black Christian boarding academies in the nation. Services recognized several honor classes, raised worthy student tuition funds, and featured the glorious singing of the Pine Forge Academy choir and alumni. Sabbath morning speaker, Dr. Myron Edmonds, challenged attendees to recognize God's protective hedge of blessing and grace by living committed lives to Him. Dr Kinlock remarked, "Pine Forge Academy is one of 11 essential educational spaces here in AEC that cultivates and curates Black Christian excellence. Graduates from Pine Forge and our other AEC schools inherit the privilege and responsibility to use their education to build our people." Overall, the weekend was an inspiring weekend of worship, fellowship, and spiritual recommitment.
