Dr. Kinlock Thanks Volunteers at Baltimore AMEN Clinic

Hundreds were served at the recent AMEN clinic held at the Miracle City church in Baltimore.  The AMEN ministry which stands for Adventist Medical Evangelism Network in partnership with Allegheny East and Chesapeake conferences provided free medical, dental, and vision services for community members.  Many who were either uninsured or underinsured took advantage of this 3 day clinic to receive critical health care services (including dental extractions and fillings, medical exams, vision exams with free designer prescription glasses).  Dr. Kinlock thanked volunteers from Howard University and other organizations that brought teams of volunteers to provide care and access to the Baltimore community.  The AMEN clinic will be followed up by the AEC sponsored city-wide "Revelation of Hope" Evangelism series held at Goucher College in greater Baltimore.

Elder Kinlock convened an annual meeting with the AEC Korean pastors to discuss conference initiatives and hear ministry reports on the AEC Korean churches. Pastors highlighted impactful ministry including "Revival Academy" an initiative for Korean young adults at the Maryland Central Korean SDA church. This initiative trains young adults to lead youth and young adult ministry in the local church and community. Pastors Kwang Kim and Dongwon reported that 7 new young adults have joined the ministry this year alone! At the Northern Virginia Korean church, Pastor Kim reported a successful health evangelism ministry that has an additional 15 people joining the church. Pastors reported on an array of ministries resulting in baptisms and new disciples for Christ. After the meeting, Dr. Kinlock and the pastors enjoyed a Korean-style fellowship lunch. AEC's Korean ministries include 7 churches, 9 pastors, and almost 600 members in churches across NJ, MD, DE, and VA. Please keep our AEC Korean pastors and churches in your prayers as they do impactful work building the kingdom!
