New Joy Fellowship Shares Love, Hope, and Joy
On Sabbath afternoon, September 12, 2026, the Adventist Youth Department of New Joy Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church visited residents at Julia Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It was a beautiful and meaningful time of fellowship, praise, prayer, and encouragement.
During our visit, we shared God's love through songs of praise, music, a short devotional message, games, smiles, and personal conversations with the residents. The atmosphere was filled with joy as residents participated, listened, sang along, and enjoyed time with the youth and members of our church family.
Several residents asked us to pray with and for them. We were blessed to lift their requests before God and to remind them that He sees them, loves them, and cares about every concern on their hearts. These moments of prayer were especially meaningful and showed us how important this ministry is.
The residents shared that they cannot wait for us to return. We are also grateful that the senior home has been telling others about New Joy Fellowship and sharing our visit on social media. This is a wonderful testimony to how God can use a simple visit, a kind word, a song, or a prayer to spread His love throughout the community.
We thank everyone who came out and gave their time, talents, and support to make this visit a success in the Lord. Your willingness to serve brought encouragement and joy to the residents and was a blessing to our church family. We look forward to returning on the second Sabbath of each month to continue sharing the love, hope, and compassion of Jesus with the seniors in our community.
